1. How can a facial help me?

   Our skin needs help to look and feel its best – especially when the demands of everyday life leave skin your last priority. We can combine facials with other techniques, such as LED therapy, to get the best out of your skin and leave it looking beautifully, naturally radiant. Our treatments can be used on all skin types, giving everyone the power to enjoy incredible, science-backed results.

2. What happens during an appointment?

   We’ll arrange a consultation to determine what the best treatment is for your unique skin and concerns. We’ll then carry out the facial treatment of your choice.

3. How long does treatment take?

   We usually suggest allowing around 30 minutes for your appointment. During this time, you’ll have your facial treatment and will be able to rest and relax while we take care of your skin.

4. How long do the results last?

   Results vary, as they depend on lots of factors – your skin type, the concern you’re treating and the facial you choose. We can give you more of an idea of longevity during your consultation at our Central London clinic. Patients with the longest-lasting results tend to be those who incorporate a good skincare routine and daily sun protection.

5. How many facials will I need?

   As with many aesthetic facial treatments, a course of 6 or more is often recommended to get the best out of your skin. We’ll discuss this with you during your consultation and devise a bespoke treatment plan to indicate which procedures to try and when.

6. Are there any risks related to facials?

   Our facials are safe and effective with minimal to no downtime. Before any facial the team will discuss any possible rare risks.

7. What is the recovery time?

   Only minimal recovery time is expected with our facials. It depends on the technologies and treatments you choose.

8. Will my results look unnatural?

   Facials help bring bright, beautiful skin to the surface, and you may even see results visibly improve over a period of days after your treatment, which can be prolonged with repeat sessions.

9. How do I care for my skin afterwards?

   Hydration is key – it helps skin feel flexible, soft and smooth. It’s also a good idea to avoid too much alcohol, and to avoid smoking altogether. A daily sunscreen and good skincare, tailored to your type and concerns, is crucial – it’s something we specialise in at Adonia.
